So 505 is plugged into just about everything cars up here, enough so when something awesome comes up for sale, I hear about it. I have my money tied up in a TBA project right now, and others or I would be so all over this it isn’t funny. On my way to the show last night I saw a friend of mine who had just gotten back from one of those magical places of 40+ ancient patina’d cars that is going up for sale. The seller is an old man, owned a towing company and estate cleanout shop for decades. Hence, he has amassed a collection of 30’s-60’s domestics. The guy doesn’t have any interest in selling online, or even advertising in the paper. He has an Edsel Villager parked in front of his house on a back road about 20 minutes away from me. Sign on the Edsel says “over 40 other cars out back” and has the $4500 crossed out, and replaced with $2500. All that is missing is a radiator. All of these cars were taken running out of estates, all badging is there, mostly just surface rusted or less, though alot are stored in a large barn he built for them. The picture is one of his “sales sheets”. I will be headed up to take pictures and rap with the guy for a full writeup when I get back from my weekend, which I am already on. Anything here that interests anyone let me know and I can take pics, or facilitate a sale and transportation. There might be nothing more desireable to me than an Edsel wagon but I cannot extend myself any further than I already will be financially. Waiting on a few more shots of the place from my friend, will update later on
Just let me know, or expect an epic post Tues or Wed next week.

in maine you do not need a title to register anything older than 1995. Though they can be if requested with a VIN verification

BTW, got a 2nd row and 3rd row from a GMC Envoy yesterday on my little trip. If I don’t use the rearmost, CalzoneGolem called dibs, so I may have to haul that up with me whenever. Interesting adventure - the donor car was a donor because it was a wreck, and the guy parting it out is sticking the LS with a T56 in a two-door E30 for Fun Tiemz. He has a 4-door DD with Eibachs and goodies all the way around, and another one that is a ChumpCar.

I think so. Which is weird, man. He’d need to build a box for these rears to get them high enough (if I let him have them), but they are pretty swanky - leather, black/tan, mini-buckets.You can see the ones I’m definitely using here:
